Belkyra is a permanent treatment, so there should be no need to continue once the desired result is achieved.
HOW IT WORKS
Belkyra is a treatment by micro injections of deoxycholic acid in the neck. Deoxycholic acid is a molecule naturally secreted in the body that helps break down fat. The duration of one treatment is 15 to 20 minutes. Depending on the severity of the lump and your goals, two to six sessions may be required.

It is the first and only injectable treatment that is approved by Health Canada to target and eliminate fat cells under the chin.

Appointment with the doctor to make sure you are a good candidate for the treatment you desire and to give you the medical prescription to inject it.
Injections of the Belkyra treatment.by a nurse or doctor.
Meeting with a nurse to ensure the smooth running of the treatment.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
You cannot be injected with BELKYRA if you have one of the following conditions:

- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Infection in the area to be injected (cold sores)
- Taking Accutane in the last 6 months
- Received a dose of COVID-19 vaccine in the last 14 days
- Surgery in the submental region
- Difficulty swallowing
